Hi !

AfterStep'98 final (1.4.5.5) will be available soon.

New features :

* system wide dir. or file, added to each user startmenu & unoverridable
(very useful for sysadmins)

* faster boot with NO_MAKEMENUSONBOOT (use 'Quit/Update start menu' instead)

* better start/ dir management, thanks to Ethan Fischer

Bug fixes :

* no more green border (I just can't obtain anyone with AS'98)

* ascd compile time bug fixed (for linux glibc1)

* new source code organisation to make C & C++ cohabit easyly for next release

* some silly bug fixed (default icon not working, &c.)

BTW, c.romain à mailexcite.com needs some encouragements & help for asfileman.
Please give him a hand !

Ps : Don't mail me. I have no time at all (but exams :->) & I try to spend my
few leasure time on AfterStep.

Salut / Best regards,
Guylhem <guylhem@oeil.qc.ca>
