Dear all,
I'm a happy afterstep user (as you might know :) and have some ideas
which I think could make it even greater than it already is. At the
chance of suggesting things already present, or which have been
decided to not be implemented some time ago, I'll share them with you
anyways.
- Auto focus on view switch. Right now I am using click to focus for
my windows which works fine for me. However, when switching views I
instinctively always expect the window to be on top to be the active
one, not a window on a different view I can't even see right now. Is
there a way to switch focus when switching views like this?
- Winlist grouping. My current WinList has 8 entries, all listing
themselves as "xterm". Would it not be nice to have a way where only
one xtrem shows up, and you can click it, and have all the windows
appear? I think it would be :)
- Relocate windows on mouse click. The option to select a view / desk
to send a window to by clicking the window bar and selecting the
appropiate choice from a list.
These suggestions would help me greatly. If already present, can
someone point me towards them? If not, consider this a request :) I do
not mind getting my hands dirty and as such, once work settles down a
bit, I'm willing to look into this myself, provided no one objects.

I don't believe there really IS a GAS SHORTAGE.. I think it's all just
a BIG HOAX on the part of the plastic sign salesmen -- to sell more numbers!!
