ChangeLog:
  Implemented grabbing of pointer with notification of original widget to enable 
  unpressing.
  Implemented asyncronous alarms for event handling allowing to implement 
  timeouts without nested event loops - need to fix ASNextEvent to ping us from 
  time to time.
  
  Changed pageing to use the above asynchronous scheme.
