Does everyone like the new CVS commit messages? They are sent at 30
minute intervals (iff a commit has occurred in those 30 minutes, of
course). This interval is configurable, but unfortunately cannot be
realtime due to the way CVS does its commits. The suggestion has been
made that there should be a "daily digest" as well as the 30 minute
digest - this is doable, but I don't want to do it unless it's really an
issue for someone. Charlie, this means you have to have a a *use* for
it, not just a desire. :)
The format of the message is also configurable; if anybody has suggestions
here, I'll be happy to listen to them. There is also a piece of
information that I've left out because it's not useful: the CVS versions
of the files being committed. I do not know how to determine who the
person doing the commit is, thus this rather useful info is left out.
