[as-devel] contrib patch reminders

	There are two patches in contrib - an i18n from makoto and a
Gnome related one from nyt.  When someone has a chance to overview the
ramifications of these patches, possibly they could include them if need
be in their own next patch.
	It's about time for a "working" snapshot.
