As far as I know GNOMe compatibility specs - it will require changes in to
several
 modules - Pager, WinList and afterstep itself.
Please  don't start with Pager - I'm havily working on it right now - it'll
be changed a
lot.

But I'm not sure on that  - you have to read specs closer, then try to
understand how
AfterStep works ( communications between modules ) and see, may be that can
actually
be implemented as a separate module, that will be  translating
communications from GNOME into
AfterStep acceptable form.
