I didn't want to start the inevitable flame war, so I thought I'd ask you
about this directly.
On the one hand, I'm inclined to agree with you. I've certainly put
discouraging remarks in the FAQ. On the other hand, AS is an X window
manager, and to the extent that there is an implementation of X on
Windows, it seems that it ought to be supported. Do you have an argument
as to why not? (If so, I'd really like to hear it, so that I can offer it
when I'm asked about this.)
