Yup.  Looks like the GNU-style long arguments are GNU-only.  In fact, 
getopt itself doesn't appear to be very portable.  On a Dec Alpha running 
OSF/1, I got the same getopt.h that Quisition had.  On an AIX machine, 
there doesn't appear to _be_ a getopt.h.

I'm thinking we've got a good reason to back out the getopt part of patch 
7 now. :\
