ok, let's sync our buglists.
Here's mine (borrowed from David I think)
BUGS:
SETTINGS: ./configure --enable-iconbackground
1) look files don't support 16 bit rgb values
2) Pager doesn't support -0-0 in geometry
3) Animate dies for some ppl (me, damnit!)
4) sometimes windows don't appear in the pager
5) icons are still shown (in pager) only on desk the
window was iconified in (icons do not follow desk
switching even with sticky icons).
6) shade; maximixe; unshade - app isn't maximized but is
same size with remaining space a purple color.
Similarily: maximize; shade; unmaximize; unshade -
window is screwed (missing Handles).
7) shaded app still claims space where app used to be -
SloppyPlacement won't place app in this space.
8) balloon is lost in Pager when window is iconified then
desk is changed.
9) IconBox not updated when changin look or Update
Look, or Update all.
10) Pager colors not updated when changing look -
move these to pager file anyway!!
11) When picking looks from menu on desks, the current
feel file in ~/G/L/A/n is read and not the one that was
picked (which is typically on desk 0)
12) those specific to --enable-iconbackground
A) the looks do not inherit correctly between styles, for
instance:
MyStyle "focus_colors"
ForeColor White
BackColor #000044
BackGradient 1 #303080 #000010
~MyStyle
MyStyle "menu_title_style"
Inherit menu_font
TextStyle 0
Inherit focus_colors
BackGradient 1 #303080 #000010
~MyStyle
One gets menu_title color of black when it should be
white.
B) with TextStyle 2, BackColor Black shows a white
background
