ah - that's cool :)

well - strangely i managed to fix the two memory leaks that occured when
adding new windows yesterday, so i can make a patch anytime. i'm just
waiting for ethan to send in his patch concentrating on font problem to
be sure there are *no* memory leaks in runtime and release some changes
made by makoto kato then with my memory leaks fix.
so, guylhem said (in a private mail to me) 1.5.0 shouldn't be released
without the proper documentation, so i think there's a week or so for u
and andrew sullivan to finish it. if u won't be able to because of
various problems it's worth to wait and all the maintainers must agree on
releasing so ... there's plenty of time.

okay - i had the same opinion. i just wanted to hear yours because u're
much more in touch with as users than i am.

well, not really - the problem is that bean has been pretty busy lately
with her job (as i was last two weeks or so) so she couldn't do anything.
she's lazy, but she'll do what one wants her to do when she's constantly
asked to do it (which i agree is not a good thing).
i want the cgi script because now every AS maintainer (including u - the
ftp admin) can add news to the site without actually telling bean to do
it for him. she then can work on her own, not caring too much for the
latest news. some other big changes she will have to be notified about of
course and i think she'll do them. basically i want her to concentrate on
other things than adding news - she has to make links page, browsable
archive of the mailing list etc.
