AfterStep Classic hosting at The Site?

Hello David,

Afterstep's official FTP site (ftp.afterstep.org) seems to be in deep
freeze at the moment; I uploaded AfterStep Classic 1.1 beta 2 almost a
week ago, but it's still stuck in /incoming where no one can see it.

My internet provider doesn't allow incoming FTP, so Andrew Sullivan
suggested that I try to put the files on the same place as the
AfterStep FAQ (The Site). If you're agreeable to this, let me know
where to start uploading.

As something of an inducement for you to try out Classic 1.1 beta 2
yourself, I'll mention that this version has no memory leaks that I
know of; I've been running the same Afterstep process for a week now.

Also, in this version the Wharf can hide itself, so you can make it as
large as you like without consuming too much screen area or getting
your eyeballs seared by all those icons. :)

Whatever you decide, I'd like to thank you for at least reading this
message.

Regards,
