FWIW, I have been to the Afterstep web site to see if I might be
interested in using it.  I can see that it is based, roughly, on NextStep.  
The problem I am having is that I have only a vague idea on what NextStep
is/was all about, and the AfterStep web site offers no information to
explain what this relationship means to the user.  There just isn't a good
explanation of the features/advantages offered by AfterStep over other
window managers.  I hope this changes.
