Hello all,
I've finally got some time on my hands to continue development of ascp.
>From the spate of problems people were having with ascp and each new release
of tkSTEP, (and the fact that removing tkSTEP dependence would mean reviewing
and rewriting several hundred lines of code; and many other reasons), I've
decided that the new ascp (that will work with AfterStep ver > 1.4) will be a
gtk+ app.
At the moment, I have several skeletons working, and need only to fill them
config. menus, so what I need are people to tell me what the configure most in
AfterStep. I for example, play a lot with wharf, looks, feels, backgrounds,
and startmenu functions.
In addition, I feel it uneccessary to stritly keep with the config. pages of
the old version of ascp unless those features are still being used (do we still need mouse and keyboard bindings?).
I would also appreciate input and donations of what icons to use for what
config.
with your help ascp ver 0.9 should be out before the end of the month.
Nwanua.
