General Information
===================

This is ascp version 0.9.2 (also known as gtk-ascp 0.1.2 alpha)
It uses the Gtk+-1.1.1 and glib+1.1.2.
For even better looks, it also uses gtkStep+-1.1.1.
Notice I don't say: "or later"; I haven't quite figured out what breaks
in newer versions of those libs, so please get those exact versions.

The official web site is:
	http://hubble.colorado.edu/~nwanua/htmldir/ascp.html

Edit local.h and follow the instructions there. It contains system
dependent variables that must be set before compilation.
Redhat users _will_ want to see this file.
Optionally edit main.c (lines 82 - 124) to set your preferences.

It's a good idea to make a copy of your wharf file (that's the only
file being changed at present).
